Network Administrators, Network Engineers, Network Designers, System Engineers, and Network Managers involved with Data Center Infrastructure.
The course assumes a good understanding of a lot of networking technologies and procedures. Students not fulfilling these prerequisites will have difficulties following the course and succeeding in the included lab exercises. It is recommended that you have CCNP or CCIE Routing and Switching certification status or equivalent knowledge.
Cisco Data Center Networking Infrastructure-2 (DCNI-2) is a 4-day hands-on training that teaches you how to implement an enterprise Data Center routing and switching infrastructure with the next-generation Cisco Nexus 7000 and 5000 platforms. The first 3 days will focus on the Nexus 7000, with an overview of the Nexus 5000 and FCoE on Day 4. This course provides a technical overview of the Nexus platform architecture, deployment, and operations, including Virtual Device Contexts, Layer 2 and Layer 3 features, QoS, and security. You will explore the features of NX-OS and the Nexus platform by performing hands-on labs using a Nexus 7000 simulator.
