Course Objectives
After you complete this course, you will be able to:
- Describe how the advanced application delivery services provided by the ACE appliance are used to enhance application performance, scalability, and reliability
- Describe the configuration and management tasks needed to successfully deploy an ACE appliance
- Explain how to use the ACE appliance to control traffic in layers 2, 3, and 4 of the network * Describe the ACE functions that are used to perform load balancing for layers 4 and 7
- Explain how the layer 7 processing capabilities of the ACE appliance are used to maintain session persistence and provide protocol inspection
- Explain how to deploy the ACE appliance in a high availability configuration that supports failover and state replication.
